A methodology for nonlinear system identification using Volterra series. Application to an anaerobic digestor.

Résumé

This paper introduces a Volterra series model for a continuous nonlinear system. Volterra kernels are expanded on generalized orthonorinal functions around a continuous component. An application to validate this model is presented: a biological wastewater treatment process. The Volterra model presented is validated in simulation and with experimental results.
